The BLOCK LOCK system is a simple yet revolutionary glass block wall construction system. With this system, PVC profiles are used that are placed around the perimeter as well as in the horizontal and vertical joints between the glass blocks. The glass blocks are glued to the profiles with special glue (mastic). Thanks to the use of BLOCK LOCK we save time and money, building even without previous experience a glass brick wall – simply and quickly!

The advantages it offers are:

• CE certification: It is the only glass brick installation system that is CE certified. In this way, the lack of experience of installation workshops is overcome and at the same time we avoid improvisations and "inventions" resorted to by non-specialized workshops.
• Fire reaction certification: Bs-1, d0
• Speed: We can install 1m² in 30 minutes.
• Cleanliness: This is a dry construction system in which we do not use cement mortar, but a special mastic that is applied like silicone.
• Ease: No special knowledge is required, so installation can be done by non-skilled craftsmen, by tilers, and even by individuals in their spare time.

The special mastic sticks to almost any surface.

No perimeter frame required.

Screwing to the wall is not necessary.

There is no need to place additional reinforcing reinforcement inside the joints.

The grouting is done with ordinary grout and not with silicone as in similar systems that existed in the past.

• More light: The joints are only 5mm thick.
• More beautiful aesthetic result: As the joint is only 5mm the glass brick wall appears as one large single glass surface.

Also, the 5mm joint is quite widespread in the tiles and thus the joint that forms the BLOCK LOCK comes as a continuation of the tile joints, resulting in continuity and uniformity throughout the space.

• • Better thermal insulation: The plastic profile offers better thermal insulation than ordinary cement mortar
  • Elasticity: Glass brick walls built with the BLOCK LOCK system have the ability to absorb shocks and movements (e.g. from micro-settlements)
  • Prefabrication: In case we don't have access from the outside of the building, we can pre-fabricate a glass brick wall and place it ready in the opening.
  • Suitable for glass bricks of all factories that have CE certification
  • Possibility of placing components on the joints: e.g. shower cabin door, with direct screwing to the joint profiles.
  • WARRANTY: The special welding mastic is guaranteed for 35 years, is environmentally friendly and does not emit toxic odors unlike similar products from other companies. The special mounting profiles are resistant to frost. Walls built with BLOCK LOCK are tested and certified for linear load, impact with non-rigid bodies and resistance to uniformly distributed load.
