INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Surface preparation

Due to the high durability of DECOMAX panels, a perfectly smooth wall is not required. However, for best results, the surface on which they will be installed must be clean, dry and stable.
The panels can also be installed over existing surfaces such as tiles, mosaic, marble, cement, or painted walls, without the need to remove the existing materials., without requiring dismantling of existing materials.

For better adhesion on glossy or non-absorbent surfaces, quartz primer Sand Primer the use of quartz primer (Sand Primer) is recommended.

2. 2. Cutting to the Required Size

DECOMAX wall cladding panels are thicker and more rigid than DECOWALL panels. Therefore, it is recommended to use a jigsaw or circular saw to cut them. This allows the panels to be easily adjusted to the required size, even for corners, edges, or small spaces.

3. Fixing with Adhesive

For panel installation, it is recommended to use a strong silicone or polymer-based adhesive, such as Vicolith Acrylic Flex adhesive. The adhesive is applied in strips on the back of the panels, which are then pressed firmly against the wall to ensure proper adhesion. For even better bonding, adhesive can also be applied directly to the wall surface.

4. Joints and profiles

DECOMAX panels can be installed with high precision and minimal visible joints. However, for an improved aesthetic result, the use of aluminum profiles (such as H-profiles or corner profiles) is recommended. These profiles provide a cleaner finish and help enhance the overall stability of the installation. For floor applications, joint filling with grout is recommended.

5. Final result

Once installed, DECOMAX wall and floor coverings are ready for immediate use. The surface is waterproof and easy to clean. For regular maintenance, simply wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth to keep it clean and in excellent condition. Avoid using harsh abrasives or sharp objects, as they may damage the surface.
