It is recommended that the distance of the joists be 66cm.

The load-bearing frame can be either metal or wood.

The leaf can protrude from the 1st rafter (hanging) up to 22-25cm. It is recommended not to protrude more than 10cm.

The minimum allowable slope is 15%

It is recommended that the placement be done in a sequence opposite to the direction of the strongest wind blowing in the area. That is, if the strongest wind comes from our right, the first sheet is placed on the left part of the structure.

The leaves have a total width of 104cm, but due to the overlap, the useful width is 96cm.

The sheets are 307cm and 416cm long and in the tile-red color they are an additional 241 and 484cm long, and must overlap in length by at least 10cm.

It is recommended not to screw the sheets directly to the frame, but first to open the holes which must have a diameter of 2mm larger than the diameter of the screw due to the contraction-expansion of the sheets. Do not overtighten the screws to avoid deforming (sinking) the sheet. Do not use adhesive substances that could prevent the free contraction-expansion of the sheet.

The screws must be installed:

  • At the top of the ripple
  • on the 1st leaf, on each purlin, and on the 3 free sides (top, end bottom, as well as end on the side of the leaf. In the intermediate leaves every 2nd or 3rd ripple.
  • We also have to screw in all the points where 2 sheets overlap each other horizontally or vertically.

Necessary tools: Circular saw with toothless disc or angle wheel with 1mm toothless disc in case we need to cut the sheets. Drill. Electric screwdriver and hand wrenches.

The leaves are placed from the bottom up, i.e. from the gutter to the crown.
The placement of the first sheet is very important, so make sure the first sheet is placed absolutely perpendicular (90°) to the gutter and the top. It is recommended to use thread to align the plates.

The above text is only installation advice and is not a substitute for the design and supervision of a qualified engineer. Every construction must comply with the current regulations that a qualified engineer will indicate to you and the current building conditions of the urban planning authorities. For installation, always take the protective measures prescribed by law.
