SKYLUX Belgium dome, manually opened for use as a manhole, suitable for a building opening of 70x70cm, with CE EN 1873 quality certification consisting of:

Outer shell wall construction material: Polycarbonate solid 3mm, colorless transparent with a 10-year guarantee of maintaining light transmittance and a guarantee of not breaking from hail.

Construction material of inner shell walls: Acrylic 2mm or milky opal.

The 2 walls of the shell are welded together with a special adhesive tape to prevent moisture from entering. A foam gasket is inserted between the shell and the base.

Shell specifications:

Thermal insulation: u-value= 2.68 W/m²K

Light transmittance: 79 to 73%

Behavior in fire: B1s1d0 (EN 13501-1)

The translucent shell is mechanically fixed to the base or opening frame with one-way tamper-proof screws and a non-theft Dome Cap watertight fitting

Manhole mechanism

It consists of 2 gas pistons, which are fixed at an angle of 85° to the base. It has an internal mechanical locking knob.
