The main parts of each phototube/solar tube are:
- Dome made of solid transparent colorless polycarbonate, hail resistant, self-extinguishing, “diamond” shape with a special geometric finish to make it self-cleaning, with UV filter and factory anti-static treatment
- Anti-condensation filter
- Ring connecting the solar tube to the dome
- Max Lighting mirror which optimizes the intake of natural light even during cloudy weather and directs it to the reflective tube from any direction and at any time of the day. The Max Lighting mirror rests on a special rim which connects it to the reflective tube.
- Special roof sealing piece (flashing).
- Aluminum tube, for the transmission of light, with a special internal super-reflective coating of light reflection in a percentage greater than 99.7%
- Light diffuser with connection ring to the tube
